Lemon
Back to oil painting. I have not used oils for some 10 years. I usually use acrylic, gauche and water color. The edge blending malleability and surface mixing capabilities of oils are something else. It's great. This lemon was the fourth and final study of the day. recycling the canvas with each new study.

Here's an older illustration fitting an older story titled, "Untitled works of a pianist".The story is quite short, 6 pages; and the illustration functions similar to turn of the century sheet music, back when it used to be fashionable to embellish sheet music with a fanciful piece of art at the beginning, or on its own page, facing the song. Love at first sight
Created with a narrow-mouthed glass (which preserves the bubbles). Put in the ice -- 2 or 3 cubes are plenty. Some Brits prefer theirs without ice. Let 'em go it on their own hook. Next, pour the whiskey in your mouth, cram the ice cubes in your arm pits and throw the glass at the fireplace. Enjoy! KH

M.H.H.F.F. Swag
Here are some of the final shirts, posters, lanyards, programs and handbills for this years event. There were many other parts to this project including banners that wrapped the theaters and gallery, draped banners along the screens in the theaters, table toppers, patterned photo backgrounds for the red carpet, tickets and much more.
